Dreamy Delight- Tippy the Pixie’s Tea Party

The Dreamy Delights Pixie Tea Party centerpieces are part of a limited edition collection. Each one is a little different, using vintage, retro and handmade elements.

This is my first foray into making next level assemblage pieces.

This piece measures 13.5 inches tall and 8 inches wide.

These sugary delights are decorated on all sides. The base is a vintage Glasbake coffee cup which is weighted for stability. A glitter coated styrofoam layer attaches all of the confectionary elements. The bottle brush tree is decorated with opalescent ornaments, pastel pompoms, bits of vintage necklaces, hand painted spun cotton beads that were rolled in glitter and sealed, topped with a pastel star.

Clusters of retro and vintage treats jut out from the background on wooden dowels covered by happily printed paper straws, trimmed with pony beads and glittery washi tape. There’s also a fancy felt donut for good measure.

Tippy the Pixie puts on their favorite custom glittered shoes while they enjoy a little cupcake. Tippy and their treat are sewn and secured onto their macaron cushion.

Although delicate, these centerpieces were crafted to last for seasons and generations to come.

My hope is for you to enjoy these pieces as much as I enjoyed creating them.
